——This action research study investigates the effectiveness of the Reimagining Innovative Zonal Approach (RIZA) in improving numeracy skills, specifically multiplication and division, among Grade Five students at Mayuro Elementary School. The research encompasses baseline numeracy assessments, implementation of RIZA, and post-intervention evaluations. The results indicate a significant improvement in students’ mathematical proficiency post-intervention. Qualitative data highlight enhanced engagement, understanding, and attitudes towards mathematics. This study underscores the potential of innovative pedagogical strategies in driving substantial learning gains.
